Strongmen Containment Room |
|
Containment room and its facility
are used to protect product as well as operator. This engineering
project includes two major parts: facility layout design and
mechanical design.
Facility needs to meet at least Federal Standard (FS) 209D (209E)Class
10,000 (M5.5) cleanroom and control of negative pressurization
in order to contain microbial and hazard particles from spreading to other environment.
This technology is based on physical and chemical treatment.
All the waste generated in BL Class III Containment Room need
sterilization before further disposal.
To design and built enclosed process without any physical hardware disconnection during operation and clean in placed are suitable approach in the containment process.
Dust collection is based on double HEPA filtration method and disposal by contained "bag in bag out" method.
Microbial organism is based on heat treatment system and final HEPA filtration method with drier.
Hazard gases is based on chemical treatment such as oxidizing filtration bed with drier to control humidity of the gases.
Risk Assessment is required in order for an effective and safe facility layout design and mechanical design. Based on different operation procedures and standards, we will design and build containment room that meet international standards. Class III safety cabinets or isolator are required for mechanical installation Please refer to "Safety Cabinet".

◆Remarks:
US Federal Standard 209E was cancelled and superseded by the
new international standards ISO-14644 in 29 November 2001. ISO
14644 consists of eight parts, i.e. 14644-1, 14644-2, to 14644-8,
that covers room cleanliness classification, scope of testing
and monitoring, testing methods, design & build, operation
as well as other related accessories.
FS 209E has long been used in China. Although new airborne particles
counter that meet international metric standards, FS 209E is
still commonly referred and may need some more time before practically
replaced. |
